Evangelist Tracy Curtis
Tracy Curtis, Evangelist - Teacher and founder of The Attitude of Gratitude Ministries International (T.A.G.).
Evangelist Tracy Curtis was born September 8, 1968, in Houston, Texas, the second child of Minister Louis Thompson, Jr. and Carol Figures. She has four siblings: Brian, Reginald, Andi and Chris.
Raised in a Catholic Denomination household, she became disenchanted with her Catholic background and began her search for higher spiritual awareness elsewhere. As a teenager, in her desire to please God, she joined the Church of God in Christ Denomination and soon thereafter became a born-again Christian.
Evangelist Tracy Curtis was called into ministry in 1992 and began teaching the Word of God in non-denominational churches. In her passion and being motivated to follow her calling, she became a certified Faith-Based Counselor.
In January 2007, Evangelist Tracy Curtis founded T.A.G. Ministries, International. TAG’s vision is to teach men, women and children to triumph in life as “water walkers” by developing The Attitude of Gratitude (TAG) one day at a time.
Within her heart, the Lord has placed a persistent desire for personal ministry to those who are emotionally wounded.
“I believe that God uses His infallible Word, His comforting and guiding Holy Spirit and His people to help us change, grow and overcome all issues that we face in our daily living. It is through all of this, we are empowered to be ‘water walkers’ as we follow Christ Jesus. And it is by His stripes we are completely healed of all physical, emotional and/or relational wounds.” ~Evangelist Tracy Curtis~
TAG’s foundation scripture that inspires and motivates its members is:
Rejoice in the Lord always; Pray without ceasing; Give thanks in everything; for this is the God’s will for your life.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
What is an Internet Evangelist?
WHAT IS AN INTERNET EVANGELIST?
Internet Evangelist (From Wikipedia)
An Internet evangelist is a person who uses the Internet to present a religious viewpoint such as Christianity to the world.
Today, there are many ministers who have Internet ministries and who practice evangelism on the Internet. Internet evangelism can be carried on in any number of ways, including one on one chat room ministry, web information ministry and Christian books. It is a ministry which can be fulfilled by an individual at home, or a major web outreach team who produce a portfolio of evangelistic sites.
Churches can reach out into the community through their Church websites, though research shows that very few church sites are user-friendly for non-Christians. It is currently quite popular to put streaming audio and video sermons and entire church services online that can be experienced via the Internet. There are even Internet based churches online. Bible College courses are now also offered via the Internet.

WHY DO I DO WHAT I DO? by Internet Evangelist Tracy Curtis
QUESTION: Evangelist Tracy , why do you reveal so much about your personal life in your lessons and blogs? Shouldn't you keep some things private?
ANSWER: Since the day God put internet ministry on my heart, I have been saying what He said to me. He gave me a mandate that I must adhere to, "Be naked before Me and before the world. Say what I tell you to say; keep what I tell you to keep."
QUESTION: Ok, that's understandable, but what you say is not just about you.
ANSWER: I'm not an island unto myself. My life, your life, our lives are connected to other people. My experiences are connected to other people. The good, the bad and the ugly about me is connected to other people.
QUESTION: Well if you have the problems that you say you have experienced, how can you teach about it? Shouldn't preachers and teachers not have such problems?
ANSWER: I will answer your question with a quote from Joyce Meyers:
"I study the areas where I have problems and when I get victory God would have me teach someone else." – Joyce Meyer
QUESTION: Well that's Joyce Meyers. How do we know you are truly an evangelist? What are your credentials?
ANSWER: I am ordained by God as an evangelist (primarily internet) and certified by man. I'm a certified Faith Based Counselor. I've been teaching for over 15 years (the life experience is a bugger to say the least).
But I must say that the quote from Joyce Meyers sums up all of what I would really like to say. It makes the "title" seem like icing but not the cake. It makes the certificates the sprinkles or the candy or cookie dough in the ice cream but it's not the main thing for me. Do you understand? Our lives don't have to mirror anyone else. We all have an "individual" walk of faith. So, in MY walk of faith…I can say something "similar" but not exactly as what Joyce Meyers said…
"I study the areas where I have problems and sometimes while I am going through it, I share my testimony of what I am experiencing (or witnessing). And when I get victory God would have me teach someone else."
